Abstract
We report a technique that extends the dynamic range of time resolved measurements to greater than seven orders of magnitude from femtosecon ds to microseconds. This technique is applied to two organic dye solut ions for the measurement of intersystem crossing rates and triplet sta te lifetimes. We also measure nonexponential relaxation in solid C60, elucidating two separate relaxation processes with different time depe ndences.
