Ma. Gan et Si. Ustinov, ADJUSTING OPTICAL-SYSTEMS ON THE BASIS OF THE LINE SCATTERING FUNCTION, Journal of optical technology, 61(8), 1994, pp. 585-587
This paper discusses a method for calculating the adjusting motions of
the elements of an optical system from the line scattering function (
LSF), in order to compensate aberrations that arise when the air gaps
and decentering are disturbed. The method is based on the reconstructi
on of the fourth-order aberrations of a perturbed optical system by me
ans of nonlinear approximation of the LSF and uses global and local op
timization elements. A model example is presented of the reconstructio
n of the aberrations that arise in a telescope when the secondary mirr
or is displaced along three degrees of freedom.
