Abstract
Rat neuronal nitric oxide (NO) synthase (nNOS) activity was measured i n frontal cortex, hippocampus, striatum and cerebellum using the assay of [H-3]citrulline, following chronic alcoholization. The K-m and V-m ax values were significantly increased in the frontal cortex and in th e striatum, and were not affected in the cerebellum and hippocampus.
