-di-methoxy/5-hydroxy-6-methoxy-4-methylquinolines (2a-d) and 6-alkoxy
-5,8-quinolinequinones (4a-d) have been synthesised and evaluated for
their radical curative antimalarial activity against Plasmodium cynomo
lgi in the rhesus monkeys. All the compounds showed no significant act
ivity.
