Abstract
Spitting is a rare neurological complaint. Alimentary automatisms are a common part of temporal lobe epilepsy and usually manifest as chewin g and swallowing. We report compulsory spitting as an ictal manifestat ion in three patients suspected of having temporal lobe epilepsy.
