Abstract
Two genes coding for cuticlin components of Coenorhabditis elegans hav e been cloned and their structure is described. Recombinant proteins h ave been produced in E. coli and antibodies raised against them. Nucle ic acid and specific antibodies are being used to isolate the homologu es from the parasitic species Ascaris lumbricoides and Brugia pahangi.
