Microwave absorption in MnAs poly- and single crystals below T(u) are
identified as FMR whose resonance frequencies are determined by magnet
ocrystalline anisotropy. It is found that K1 = -5.7 x 10(5) J/m3; K2 =
2.1 x 10(5) J/m3; K3 = -2.0 x 10(5) J/m3 in accord with the literatur
e. The FMR linewidths are unusually large, suggesting a distribution o
f exchange couplings and an additional central peak is observed in a l
arge temperature range, suggesting a spin fluctuation spectrum which m
ay be retrieved by a more involved calculation.
