Abstract
A new feasible approach for diagnosing plasma density profile is given in this paper. Plasma density profiles of some hohlraum targets are o btained by comparing theoretical and experimental results of the stimu lated Raman scattering (SRS) spectrum. The theoretical model of SRS is three-wave coupling equations.
