Abstract
Low-density agarose gel electrophoresis was employed to study conforma tional changes in supranucleosome chromatin structure under the influe nce of variable ionic environment. The original method proposed in the paper is both simple and accurate. The results obtained are in accord with the data obtained by conventional methods. The method could be u sed as an alternative to ultracentrifugation in the studies of chromat in condensation.
