Abstract
The effect of Fe, Ni and Co ions on corrosion electrochemical behaviou r of lead anodes in sulphate solutions has been studied. Reduction of oxygen evolution overpotential is accompanied by a decrease of lead di oxide formation and destruction rates. From resulting data a suggestio n about effect of oxygen containing particles chemisorbed on electrode on anodic processes mentioned above was made.
