SCROTAL HERNIATION OF BLADDER DIVERTICULU M

Bladder diverticula may be involved in inguinal hernias usually in the form of a sliding hernia. We studied three patients with scrotal hern iation of bladder diverticulum, one of them having a neurogenic bladde r. All our patients have had the diagnosis before undergoing hernia re pair - so iatrogenic lesions of the bladder during surgical manipulati ons could be avoided. Methods for an early diagnosis of this rare occu rence are discussed along with aspects of surgical approach.
