Abstract
New reflective optical fiber star couplers are proposed. The star broa dcasts to all receivers without excess loss by rotating the polarizati on of the transmitted light by 90-degrees. The couplers use an orthogo nal-polarization variable reflector that can act as either a full or h alf reflector. Published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
