PHOSPHINODITHIOCARBAMATE COMPLEXES OF OSM IUM

Complexes of the type [OsHCl(CO)(PR3)3], where R = C6H5, C6H5CH2, isom ers with the ones known in the literature, have been prepared. The hyd rido-complexes synthetized react with the tetraethylthiuram disulphide to afford the mononuclear species, [OsC](CO)(PR3)2(Et2CNS2)]. The new complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity measurements, IR spectroscopy and molecular weight measurements.
