Abstract
The TiO2 photoanodes obtained by thermal oxidation of the titanium foi ls have been studied in order to elucidate their photoelectrochemical behaviour. The experiments have been performed with two kinds of photo anodes (with thin and thick TIO2 layers) and the oxygen evolution reac tion has been studied. Conclusions have been drawn about the possibili ty of using these electrodes as photoanodes for the photoelectrochemic al cells.
