Abstract
Synthesis of some new hydroxyaminocyclopenta[c]thiophenones was achiev ed via halogenation reaction, then formation and finally cleavage of a n aziridino ring. The in vitro cytotoxic activity of these compounds w as evaluated against L1210 leukemia. The importance of the ketohydroxy ethylamino sequence for their activities is discussed.
