G. Kordas, N(=1,2,3) DIMENSIONAL FOURIER TRANSFORM-ELECTRON PARAMAGNETIC-RESONANCE (FT-EPR) SPECTROSCOPY MEASUREMENTS IN THE B2O3-LI2O SYSTEM, Physics and Chemistry of Glasses, 38(1), 1997, pp. 21-24
(100-x)B2O3.xLi(2)O (mol%) glasses with x=0-50 were prepared by conven
tional melting technique and exposed to gamma-ray in irradiation. The
CW-EPR spectra were recorded at room temperature and show a strong dep
endence on x. Echo induced EPR spectrum of the B2O3 glass is different
from the CW-EPR spectrum showing better resolution. The FID spectrum
of this centre contains valuable information about the structure of th
is centre. Analysis of 3D FT-EPR spectra of these glasses demonstrated
the influence not only of boron but also of hydrogen on the creation
of these EPR spectra. Such influence was neglected in the past.
