Abstract
The possibility of using some aluminium alloys as sacrificial anodes f or the cathodic protection of carbon steel in sea water has been studi ed. Therefore, the time dependence of the protective potential and the values of the electrochemical efficiency of these aluminium alloys ha ve been determined.
