Abstract
Based on the experimental results obtained in the hot corrosion studie s of 2.25Cr - 1Mo steel and its weldments in low melting mixture of po tassium sulphate and sodium chloride, the possible mechanisms of hot c orrosion in the material and its welded joint are discussed in this pa rt of the paper.
