Rp. Tandon et al., THE EFFECT OF NEODYMIUM OXIDE ON DIELECTRIC AND ELECTROMECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF LEAD-ZIRCONATE-TITANATE CERAMICS, Materials letters, 20(3-4), 1994, pp. 165-168
Dielectric measurements were performed on Pb (Zr0.53Ti0.47)O3 ceramics
containing different amounts of Nd2O3 with application of high ac fie
ld (0-12 kV/cm). Both the dielectric constant and dissipation factor w
ere found to increase with increasing neodymium content. The compositi
on having lower dopant concentration (almost-equal-to 0.5 mol%) exhibi
ted excellent high-field characteristics which could be very useful in
the generation of high-power ultrasonics. The effect of Zr/Ti ratios
on dielectric parameters was also examined.
