Abstract
Polycrystalline sintered samples of Y1-xGdxBa2Cu3O7-delta have been pr epared and their excess conductivity DELTAsigma(T) has been analysed. The fluctuation conductivity shows dimensional cross-over, and the 3D character is well described by the Aslamasov-Larkin contribution. By u sing these data and the dimensional cross-over temperature T0, the int erlayer coherence length xi(c)(0) is evaluated. The temperature depend ence of the Hall number and the T2 dependence of the inverse Hall mobi lity show an anomaly above 220 K and deviations from linearity at temp eratures below 150 K in the fluctuation conductivity regime.
