Abstract
A transfer method of fatty acid monolayer at a very low surface pressu re on the water surface was developed. The electron microscopic studie s revealed that the horizontal drawing-up method could transfer the mo nolayer onto a hydrophilic SiO substrate without any change of the cry stal structure of monolayer on the water surface, even at zero surface pressure.
