Abstract
The enantioselectivity in the hydrolyses of cis- and trans-1,2-diaceto xycyclohexanes by the cultured suspension cells of Marchantia polymorp ha was very high. The acetoxyl groups at the stereogenic center of (R) -configuration were preferentially hydrolyzed.
