Abstract
The dispersion relation of photons transmitting through a photonic one -dimensional quasicrystal arranged in a Fibonacci sequence was observe d by measuring the spectrum of the phase change of the transmitted lig ht using a Michelson-type interferometer. The phase spectrum obtained clearly showed the self-similar structure characteristic to dispersion curves of Fibonacci lattices.
