Ar. Gokhman et al., EFFECTIVE TEXTURE OF SHEETS OF MATERIALS WITH HEXAGONAL LATTICE DETERMINED BY ANISOTROPY OF PHYSICAL-PROPERTIES, Industrial laboratory, 60(3), 1994, pp. 158-160
A method for calculating the effective ideal orientation using the dat
a on the anisotropy of Young's modulus and the magnetic susceptibility
of sheets of Ti - Al - V alloys with a multicomponent texture has bee
n developed. A comparison of the results of the calculation of Young's
modulus normal to the sheet plane obtained from the data on the effec
tive orientation and the experimental integral characteristics of the
texture has been done. An in-plane Young's modulus anisotropy of sheet
s of Ti - 3Al - 1.5V and PT - 3Vkt alloys has been established. Using
Ti - 3.6%V alloy as an example, the possibility of existence of an int
ermediate maximum at an angle 45-degrees to a rolling direction has be
en demonstrated for hexagonal materials.
