SPONTANEOUS ACTIVITY AND EVOKED-POTENTIALS IN THE CAUDAL TRIGEMINAL NUCLEUS, VENTROBASAL THALAMUS, AND CEREBRAL-CORTEX OF RATS WITH NEUROPATHIC TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA
Gn. Kryzhanovskii et al., SPONTANEOUS ACTIVITY AND EVOKED-POTENTIALS IN THE CAUDAL TRIGEMINAL NUCLEUS, VENTROBASAL THALAMUS, AND CEREBRAL-CORTEX OF RATS WITH NEUROPATHIC TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA, Bulletin of experimental biology and medicine, 117(1), 1994, pp. 24-27
Incomplete compression of the infraorbital nerve in rats leads to spon
taneous neuronal activity in the form of bursts in the caudal trigemin
al nucleus and to epileptiform activity in the ventrobasal thalamus an
d cerebral cortex. From the latter, afterdischarges are also recorded.
