Abstract
It is shown that glucocorticoids play a key regulatory role directed t oward the maintenance of an optimal level of binding and internalizati on of HDL, in hepatocytes. Their stimulatory effect on the expression of HDL receptors proves to be independent of changes in the CH content in parenchymal cells.
