S. Inoue et al., EFFECTS OF SOME DSIP PEPTIDE ANALOGS ON RAT SLEEP FOR INTRAVENTRICULAR INFUSION, Bulletin of experimental biology and medicine, 117(1), 1994, pp. 58-60
Peptide [D-Ala(2)]DSIP markedly increases the representation of NREM a
nd REM sleep delayed by several hours from the onset of infusion and l
asting after the infusion till the end of the 12-hour night period in
a chamber. Peptide [D-Tyr(1)]DSIP increases NREM sleep during hours IV
and XI of recordings. Analogs of these peptides have no noticeable ef
fects.
