Abstract
Human alpha-2 interferon and peptides representing parts of the amino- acid sequence 124-138 of the IF molecule inhibit the proliferative res ponse of peripheral blood lymphocytes from healthy donors in vitro ind uced by ConA. It is shown that neither interferon alpha-2 nor biologic ally active peptides change the level of interleukin-2 ConA-induced pr oduction by human blood mononuclears.
