Abstract
Electron microscopy study of crushed m = 7 MPTB(p) single crystals has been performed. In agreement with the X-ray diffraction structural re sults, these crystals exhibit a monoclinic symmetry and P2(1)/n space group. It was shown that whereas some single crystals appear very regu lar, others exhibit intergrowth defects with other members of the MPTB (p) family or with MPTB(h) slabs, which may badly influence electron t ransport behavior.
