Abstract
Values of intrinsic viscosity [eta] and Huggins' constant K(H) were me asured for cellulose, polyacrylonitrile and their mixtures in dimethyl acetamide/7% LiCl. The trend of [eta] is linear with the weight fracti on of the two polymers. The Huggins' constant values correspond to the case of ideal mixtures. Observations are made concerning deviations w hich arise in results obtained at higher concentrations.
