Abstract
Relative-permittivity increments and excess molar volumes have been me asured for {xCH3(CH2)4CH3 + (1-x)CH3(CH2)vOH} (v=2,4, and 6) at the te mperature 298.15 K and at atmospheric pressure. Relative permittivity was determined using the short-circuited-line method and the excess mo lar volume was obtained from densities measured by vibrating-tube dens imetry. Variable-degree polynomials have been fitted to the results. T he experimental excess molar volumes were compared with the results ob tained with the Nitta-Chao model.
