Abstract
Current developments in the technology of gas chromatography not only are improving the practice of field gas chromatography in the classica l sense, but are changing the character of chromatographic information as well. A brief review is presented of some recent developments and the nature of these changes as they pertain to the practice of gas chr omatography in the field.
