Abstract
Some interesting results from a current program of high resolution spe ctroscopy of the faint, giant haloes of Planetary Nebulae are presente d. Observations of optical emission line profiles show that these halo es have very little turbulent motion. The balo of NGC 6543 is thought to be a filamentary, thin, radially expanding, spherical shell and tha t of NGC 6826 is more probably a filled spherical shell. The halo of N GC 6720 contains inner and outer shells, the split profiles from the i nner halo show that this part of the halo is bipolar in nature.
