The slopes of the noninvariant center-of-mass energy spectrum of proto
ns in inelastic collisions of d, alpha, C nuclei with carbon and tanta
lum targets at 4.2A GeV/c are studied. The temperatures of protons are
obtained using the Boltzmann approximation of the spectra. The experi
mental results are compared with the calculations in the framework of
the quark-gluon string model.
