Abstract
Measurements were performed using pion double charge exchange to obser
ve the double isobaric-analog state (DIAS) in the odd-A nuclei V-51, C
o-59, In-115, and Au-197. These results are combined with data for oth
er odd-A targets and used to investigate the N, Z, and A dependence of
DIAS cross sections.
