Abstract
Recently, a paper by Meek et al. [Phys. Rev. C 41, 2921 (1990)] purpor ted to show that a new technique for measuring atomic masses had been developed sufficiently to demonstrate an error in the accepted value f or the mass of Xe-134. However, new measurements of the masses of seve ral stable isotopes of Xe, which are in agreement with other data, ind icate that this claim may be premature.
