Vv. Burdyuzha et An. Chekmezov, DISTORTION OF THE RELICT RADIATION SPECTR UM IN THE WIEN REGION DURING RECOMBINATION OF THE UNIVERSE (THE BARYON DENSITY TEST), ASTRONOM ZH, 71(3), 1994, pp. 341-351
he nonequilibrium hydrogen recombination is reinvestigated under the a
ssumption that distortions of the relict radiation spectrum in the Wie
n region (wavelengths ranged from 100 to 150 micron) arising due to fo
rmation of high-energy photons during recombination of the Universe al
low the baryon density of the Universe to be tested. The commencement
of recombination in the Universe corresponds to the redshift of z = 12
00. The distortion of the relict radiation spectrum in the Wien region
due to the resonance radiation in L(alpha) line is evaluated for seve
ral values of cosmological parameters in the ranges 0.5 less-than-or-e
qual-to h less-than-or-equal-to 1 and 0.01 less-than-or-equal-to OMEGA
(H) less-than-or-equal-to 1.
