Abstract
After infection in the morning, the mitotic index at first rises and t hen drops, followed by normalization by the end of the experiment. Inf ection in the evening is at first attended by a rise of the mitotic in dex followed by its fall, after which the mitotic index again increase s and then normalizes, by the end of the experiment being lower than i n the control.
