DIFFERENCES IN THE LUMINESCENCE OF REGENERATED CUCUMBER PLANTS CAUSEDBY PLANT HORMONES IN THE MEDIUM

Leaf luminescence was determined in cucumber plants regenerated from l eaf explants on two media with different concentrations of growth regu lators. The plants growing on the medium with higher concentration of growth regulators had lower values of three rates: factor of the photo chemical efficiency of photosystem II, index of vitality, rate of elec tron transport efficiency between photosystem II and I. The obtained r esults are discussed in relation to potential productivity of photosyn thesis and to the possibility of stress monitoring related to the in v itro procedure.
