Abstract
Potential nonlinear optronic applications of GaAs MESFET injection pla nar Gunn diode oscillators have bhn investigated. The possibilities of upconversion, mixing and injection locking have been theoretically de monstrated. The feasibility of upconversion of a low frequency modulat ed optical signal to the millimetre wave region is experimentally conf irmed.
