Abstract
A rapid alcohol-fixed Diff-Quik stain is described. The technique take s less than five minutes and results in excellent cytologic detail, co mparable to that with Papanicolaou stain, as well as superb stromal de finition. The stain should be very useful to pathologists and cytotech nologists for immediate interpretation of fine needle aspiration speci mens.
