A patient with bilateral occlusion at the site of tubal reanastomosis
demonstrated the potential benefits and hazards of attempted transcerv
ical transostial tubal cannulation to restore patency. On one side tub
al patency was restored, whereas on the other a false passage was crea
ted distal to the reanastomosis.
