Abstract
This paper summarizes the work currently underway on three major rail tunnel projects in The Netherlands. (1) Rotterdam Railway Tunnel; (2) the doubling of the railway tunnel underneath Schiphol Airport; (3) th e Rijswijk underground railway station; and (4) reconstruction of the rail station at Leiden.
