Abstract
Measurements of poly(vinyl chloride) thermal shrinkage and shrinkage f orce permit the measurement of a yield flow temperature between elasto plastic behaviour and viscoplastic behaviour. Then, an analogy with me chanical modulus allowed an intrinsic shrinkage modulus to be defined. This concept illustrates the influence of crosslink density on therma l shrinkage.
