Abstract
The allylzincation of vinylmetals is a very general reaction; whatever the nature of the vinyl organometallics, the reaction occurs with 1 e quiv of substituted allylmagnesium bromide, if 1 equiv of zinc salt is present. This new synthetic approach leads to the creation of stereog enic secondary carbon centers with an excellent level of stereocontrol .
