Abstract
The rate of yeast autoregulator secretion was shown to correlate with growth rate and to depend on osmotic pressure. The supposition that au toregulators are products of partial autolysis of yeast cell wall is a dvanced. Autoregulators were sorbed on cells with the Langmuir equatio n coefficient k = 1.140909 x 10(-3) l/(mg/liter). Transduction of the signal from autoregulators was established to proceed via activation o f the adenylate cyclase system. The influence of autoregulators on the phospholipid metabolism was shown.
