The dynamics of solid-phase extrusion of polymerization-filled polyeth
ylene was investigated and the indices of the technological and physic
omechanical properties of the specimens produced were evaluated. The e
ffect of the extrusion conditions on the degree of swelling of extruda
tes was analyzed. It was shown that as the extruding ratio increases,
the elastic and strength characteristics rise and the plasticity dimin
ishes. The method of material monolithization was proposed to decrease
the power consumption and to increase the output of the process.
