Abstract
Covalent binding of acetylcholinesterase to water-soluble copolymers o f acrylamide and acrylic acid was studied. It was found that in contra st to radical copolymerization of the double-bond containing enzyme de rivative, using Woodward's reagent as the condensing agent preserves t he enzymatic activity of polymer-immobilized acetylcholinesterase.
