Oxigen isotopic composition of scheelite and quartz from the stratifie
d tungsten ore deposit Felbertal was studied. The scheelite from diffe
rent ore bodies is characterised with 1,7-6,0 parts per thousand value
s of deltaO-18. The corresponding values of quartz are varying in the
range of 8,5-12,2 parts per thousand. deltaO-18 values of the oreormin
g fluid were found as corresponding to 8 parts per thousand. In the pr
ocess of metamorphic alteration the aqueous solutions with deltaO-18 v
alue of 3,0 parts per thousand were involved. Quartz and partly scheel
ite especially of fine crystalline type were subjected to isopotic cha
nges resulted in the nonequilibrium distribution of oxygen isotopes in
different quartz-scheelite pairs.
