Abstract
Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMMol) developed in a 10-year-old gir l after treatment of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with a regimen which did n ot contain epipodophyllotoxins. t(9;11)(p22;q23) was found in the leuk emic cells. This case highlights the fact that secondary hemopoietic m alignancies with 11q23 abnormalities are not restricted to patients tr eated with epipodophyllotoxins, expands the number of documented cases of secondary myelodysplasia in children, and adds CMMoL to the spectr um of hemopoietic malignancies associated with t(9;11).
